Lucy-May reached the Schwarzkopf young artistic team final last weekend and completed an intense judging day where they showed off their skills and technique to an industry panel in London.
Lucy-May had already completed several stages to have made it through to the final 20 including a mood board,video application and industry questions.
Having taken inspiration for her mood board from natural beauty,showcasing texture and curls.Lucy-May then went on to use the Pantone colour of the year, Coral for her live model and presentation.
Softening the tone and giving a pastel version of this bright shade made it a versatile choice and the textures and curls giving a feminine finish.
The final stage of this competition meant Lucy-May had to put together a complete look including make-up, hair,outfit and styling and present this to a panel of eight industry experts.
The reason Lucy-May enter this competition is to push her own boundaries, further her education and also to inspire other people to put themselves out there and enter these sort of events.
Unfortunately Lucy-May did not make the final team but thoroughly enjoyed the experience of entering and is hoping to enter again next year.
We are so proud of all she has achieved and the images she created with her model are gorgeous.
