This product presents the same concerns as mascara. However unless they run out or go dry this product has a longer shelf life at 6 months from opening.
Pencil eyeliner
Pencil liners will last you up to 2 year, that’s if it hasn’t run out before then!
Regular sharpening and keeping the cap on this product will help keep them clean and protected.

If you have acne prone skin you should consider changing foundations every 6 months.
Lipsticks
We can all be guilty of keeping our fave shade a little too long when you can’t find a replacement but ideally lipsticks should be replaced every 2 years if you haven’t used it up first.
Powder based products such as eyeshadow, bronzer, blusher with the right care and clean brushes can last up to 2 years.
