The hairdressing showcase where age doesn’t matter

Back in October we went to Salon International, the showcase for British hairdressing and one of Europe’s most prestigious events.

We saw many different brands there; such as Wella, Schwarzkopf and Denman.

One specific show that really impacted me was the Fellowship show because it showed me how much bigger the hairdressing industry really is. No matter where you come from or your age, it doesn’t matter. It also made me realise how creative and how much you can do on one person.

I also loved the Patrick Cameron show, which was all about hair ups. It showed me how simple a hair up is but still with an amazing finished look. In one of his looks, he used one hair grip and that look was stunning and normally you would think you needed lots of grips to create this but it looked highly effective.
